After installing 2.0.5-ALPHA on a 486 DX4-100 machine with 4MB of
ram, I cannot use passwords. If I try to give an account a password
it will not allow that user to log in.

I installed the des distribution. I do not remember doing anything
special in this regard when I installed the April snapshot on this
same machine, and also installing des.

What do I need to do?
