mplayer already DTRT now, without the bump. It does it the way every audio
application has to handle such things.

So technically I don't see the need for a bump. But as you said: bumps are
cheap. But I can't commit it until the weekend when I'm back home, so if
someone wants a timely bump he better goes ahead and does it.
