So, if you had one of the previous FreeBSD versions, you might have installed them from the sources. The compat libraries were moved to ports, inorder to make it easier to give ports dependancies compat libraries. When this was done, it was seen that having the compat libraries in both ports and the sources was redundant. Scot --=20 DISCLAIMER: No electrons were mamed while sending this message.
