The next time you decide to try flaming me, it would probably help if
you actually kept me on the To: or Cc: lines ;-)

It does if you look. It's even in the same handbook you got the email
address from:

   http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/eresources.html#ERESOURCES-MAIL

See above. There's also a search page which is linked to right off the
main page of the web site. There's even a search box on the main page.

The mirrors are FTP mirrors, hence they mirror what's available on the
FTP server. The link in the handbook is pointing at the FTP server.
There are about 12 of them. I fail to understand you wouldn't try one
of the mirrors listed after you didn't find it on the main one, even if
only out of curiousity to see if it's on the mirrors.

Yes, because people haven't used the resources available to them to even
see if there's a reason. Oh, and btw, see the giant maroon box now at
http://www.FreeBSD.org/.

I'm not asking you to have perfect knowledge of all things. I'm just
asking you to make an attempt at trying to find things for yourself,
which, by the above statements, you didn't look very hard before sending
off your last email.
