Not sure; I thought of it, but then don't know what current maintainer
thinks about this.

I have a few patches from Debian/Gentoo/Arch to add to the port; once I'm
happy with it, I'll ping Pavel and ask why he let the port to get moved,
and if he's still willing to maintain it.
