Currently I am running a small local network. On this network I have a Linux NIS server with shadow support in the NIS server. I am wondering how I can get FreeBSD to use the passwd.byname for user info, and get the shadow.byname for DES passwds? I have this working without shadow support but I don't want the users on the server viewing the passwd file with the passwd feilds.. Justen Stepka raistlin@ecpnet.com
