Comparing 2.0.8 with http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/perl/modperl/trunk the
changes are to much for a simple patch.

I'm concerned most of the applications in the list will not work as expected
with the (simple) patch.

Anyway If the patch goes in it should really warn users that it is totally
unsupported and only experimental.
