I hate to follow up on my own problems but you see, my motherboard has an internet AC'97 soundcard that I don't use and didn't seem to be supported before. Now, it is configured and show up as pcm0 and my Soundblaster Live! is configured as pcm1. That's why it didn't work before. Sorry.
