Hi. My name is Justin Kibler. I need help with unzipping .tgz's! I have downloaded the bin,cmpat1x,games, and manpages so far....for 2.2.6. And i also downloaded ports.tgz to my DOS partition. I need help installing the ports. First of all....i cant unzip them...i dont know how to access my DOS partition from BSD. I was told to mount it with "mount -t msdos /dev/wd0 /dos" but that didnt work. I made a dir on bsd and everything for dos. I also need help formatting a disk so I can use it with FreeBSD. I have messed around with newfs alot...but cant do anything yet. I need to know how to Copy and Get files from a BSD formatted disk..and how to format it! Please help me..and thanx!
