https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D231886 Bug ID: 231886 Summary: audio/openal-soft: 1.19 cause distortions and crash with minecraft-client. Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: tobik@freebsd.org Reporter: johalun0@gmail.com CC: Flags: maintainer-feedback?(tobik@freebsd.org) Assignee: tobik@freebsd.org Some sounds effects are more like white noise or crackling sound. Eventually minecraft-client will crash with libopenal.so being the culprit.=20 Compiling with pulseaudio backend and forcing it to use that make no difference. Playing music or video in Firefox works fine (non-openal stuff). Reverting openal-soft to 18.2 solves the issue.=20 This with 12-ALPHA8 on Intel Kabylake laptop. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
