I have a local TCP network using a 192.168... addressing scheme as per = the convention for non internet networks. One of these nodes is a BSD = PC which also has a PPP 203.17... connection into the internet. I would like the other hosts to be able to web browse, telnet, ftp etc = without spilling 192.168 packets into the outside world. Can things be = set up so that the BSD PC does proxy requests on behalf of the other = nodes ? I read information about 'routed' which I have set to '-q' on my BSD PC. = I also see references to 'gated' but their appears to be no man page. = The PPP software seems to let me filter everything in sundry but I don't = spy any information about proxy routing. I imagine my scenerio is a very common one. Could someone please fill = me in on how to go about achieving the above. Regards, Greg Laslett.
