The more the merrier; it was just a proof of concept patch, and the limits
will certainly change.

Probably the best person to ask on this would be CGD of NetBSD
fame, who is currently working at Broadcom, which acquired
sibyte <http://www.sibyte.com/>; (a product wihch does processing
like this).
