You do not mount audio cds in order to play them.

1. Insert music cd into cdrom drive
2. run cdplayer. 
      If you do not have it on your system, get it from the
      /usr/ports/audio.
3. Read the readme file for cdplayer.
4. Happy listening.

BTW, there are several cd players. Another popular one is xcd.
