easytag also dumps core on large directories, and won't handle some [possibly misformed?] tags...  I think this is an issue for the 
port author though, and the program is still usable, even though it will sometimes dump core on re-reading a large directory.  In my 
book it's still a most invaluable tool for dealing with MP3's.
