Ok I tested the following byte limits

1024
2048
4096
40960
0 (unlimited)

In terms of reported cpu usage on proxmox graphs, 2048 and upwards are all =
the
same, also same with unlimited, so if proxmox even went a bit higher people
probably would not have noticed.

The peak usage reported inside the FreeBSD guest is higher on 2048 and vs 4=
096,
and likewise 4096 vs 40960 and unlimited.  But they seem to average out the
same.

I will report this to proxmox.

Also even with unlimited, The idle system cpu usage is still about 3x vs
without virtio rng (0.3% vs 0.1%), so seems to be less efficient but does d=
rop
to a level where most people wont notice it.
