The mailing lists used to be called 'current@', 'stable@', etc.  However,
they were later renamed to 'freebsd-<foo>@' for clarity.  To keep people
from having problems if they tried to mail to the old address, the old
list addresses simply forward to the new lists.  The real list is
'freebsd-current' and that is the one you should subscribe to.
