Hello,
It seems to me, that PERL_THREADED /etc/make.conf variable isn't correctly
described in the /etc/defaults/make.conf :

excalibur:/home/roman% grep PERL_THREADED /etc/defaults/make.conf /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/perl/Makefile.inc
/etc/defaults/make.conf:#PERL_THREADED= true
/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/perl/Makefile.inc:PERL_THREADED?= no
/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/perl/Makefile.inc:.if ${PERL_THREADED} == "yes"

It's should be "#PERL_THREADED=yes" in make.conf I guess..
