The "--disk-cache-size=3D0" command line option was effective for me.
It improved problem of freezing during rendering(but not completely).

I'm also using following workarounds(I don't know if it's all necessary):
 * disable v8 cache(Comment #24)
 * Simple Cache for HTTP(Comment #53)
 * tmpfs(Comment #55).
