When I submitted a bug, I ran 6.2-STABLE with older BIOS.
Since then, I've updated BIOS and FreeBSD to 7.0-STABLE.
Now I cannot reproduce original problem - I've just discovered
that media change works now! May be, it's ACPI fixes in FreeBSD
or just BIOS update that helped, I don't know.

However, I've checked your patch - it does not apply to RELENG_7,
I've corrected it and it compiles nice. It should work but, again,
fdc(4) in RELENG_7 now works for me without patches.
