Have a problem with writing to my disk. Have sis 3112 controler, maxtor sata 160 gb. When a process writes data to disk (for example, "make install"), the dmesg gives mesage ad4: "TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (1 retry left) LBA=217089031" and system hangs (stops for a while - 1 or 2 secs). i've been looking for answers in internet, but havent found any one, just description of this problem.
