The result is from the 9470m. This laptop is owned by me, and FreeBSD detec=

the mouse as a Generic PS/2 Mouse.

A Ubuntu 17.10 LiveUSB on the same laptop detects the trackpad as a Synapti=

SYN0002 PNP0f13) says it can support a different bus. If i2c-hid and hid-rmi
are not used, you might want to try setting psmouse.synaptics_intertouch to=

and report this to linux-input@vger.kernel.org.
