Hi all! Have a problem with my SCSI-tape... I have a Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI host adapter Seagate ST34572W 4.2 SCSI HDD & Exabyte SCSI tape int. I rebuild my kernel : .... options SCSI_DELAY=15 ..... controller ahc0 controller scbus0 device sd0 device st0 ..... .... Then i install new kernel. ...... ahc0: <Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI host adapter> rev 0x01 int a irq 11 on pci0.15.0 ahc0: aic7880 Wide Channel, SCSI Id=7, 16 SCBs ahc0: waiting for scsi devices to settle scbus0 at ahc0 bus 0 sd0 at scbus0 target 0 lun 0 sd0: <SEAGATE ST34572W 0876> type 0 fixed SCSI 2 sd0: Direct-Access 4340MB (8888924 512 byte sectors) ahc0:A:2: refuses WIDE negotiation. Using 8bit transfers st0 at scbus0 target 2 lun 0 st0: <EXABYTE EXB-850085QANXRC 05E0> type 1 removable SCSI 2 st0: Sequential-Access density code 0x0, drive empty ...... Then I wanna make a dump & have a strange... # /sbin/dump -0u -f /dev/rst0 /usr/home/ftp DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Wed Mar 11 22:16:56 1998 DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch DUMP: Dumping /usr/home/ftp to /dev/rst0 DUMP: bad sblock magic number DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted. What can I do ??? Please help me, if it possible.
