https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D218311 Bug ID: 218311 Summary: Porters handbook: Requesting enhanced pkg-add testing description, Section 3.4 Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: sjac998@yahoo.com In Section 3.4 of the Porter's Handbook, Procedure 3.1, step 6: I could not figure out how to make the pkg-add test step work. The step specifies a generic <package-filename>, which was not clear. I fo= und a likely candidate in the work directory, but referencing it did not work.= =20 Perhaps I needed to specify a path. I perused Section 8 of the manual, but did not find an obvious solution. I am testing on FreeBSD 10.2, release, amd64. Thanks! https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/porters-handbook/book.html#porting-tes= ting --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
