I have a system here with 12 disks across four controllers (news server) and
if I do someting like a du -sk or find of the spool area the whole system
(interactive response) goes into the toilet, with pauses between characters as
you type (bursty) sometimes up to a second... Any ideas for tuning or what
causes this?
