Its just another form of spam and graffiti. It doesnt really have anything to do with actual DNS lookups / resolution and is just listing all domains/servers that match your query. e.g # whois AMAZON.COM.BLACKSWANSBOOKS.COM Whois Server Version 2.0 Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered with many different competing registrars.
