It's NOT "dangerous"! :-)
The driver doesn't make a distinction between 7xxx and 8xxx
controllers, and sees them all as "7000 series" controllers.
Since this was apparently cause of confusion, I have reverted
the driver to only say "3ware Storage Controller" in the later
versions.  There's only one driver for 7xxx and 8xxx (also
6xxx for that matter).
