just to answer my own question ... \ i had problems connecting with a vt100 terminal server - sometimes i'd connect, sometimes not. this led me to come up with some wierd tricks that i thought was allowing me to get in at times - but as it turned out - my tricks only worked only by mere coincidence. \ i now find that no matter what - it's a matter of just trying over and over again until it works. --------------------------------------------------------- Get Your *Web-Based* Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------
