Hi,

I am running freeBSD (based pm 4.4BSD) and saw from a linux device driver
book (O'Reilly - by Alessandro Rubini) the following way of loading and
unloading a test sample device driver.

What is the equivalent way of doing the same thing in freeBSD?

Thanks

B. Doan

#define MODULE
#include <linux/module.h>

int init_module(void) {
    printk("<1> Hello, world \n");
      return 0;
}

void cleanup_module(void) {
    printk("<1> Goodbye, world\n");
}

ROOT> gcc -c hello.c
ROOT> insmod hello.o
Hello, world
ROOT> rmmod hello
Goodbye, world
