Hi all,

I am trying to install mon on my monitoring server. Does anyone have
any experience / comments on running this under FreeBSD ?

As part of installing mon, I am installing fping. ./configure goes
fine, but running (or gmake) outputs...

$ make
CONFIG_FILES= CONFIG_HEADERS=./config.h ./config.status
creating ./config.h
gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.   -g -O2 fping.c
fping.c:222: conflicting types for `sys_errlist'
/usr/include/stdio.h:225: previous declaration of `sys_errlist'
*** Error code 1

Stop in /home/waynep/src/fping-2.2b1.

Does anyone know how to get around this ?
