Ok, you are right, accepted. In that strict sense you are right and the
whole thing should be backed out.

In the last days i received numerous mails saying "oh good that it made
it into 4.4" because noone i know is actually using the i4b in stable=20
anymore but uses the overinstall kit to use in stable what was formerly
only in current.

What does the API change is about ? It adds two fields to a structure to
configure isppp to allow for lcp timeout configuration and enable of VJ
compression. It affects noone but ISDN kernel PPP users. The inclusion
of the first solves a major cause of trouble to people and is one of=20
the major causes why people don=B4t use the i4b in stable anymore.

You are also right in this one, and in case you are taking it strict, again
the whole thing should be backed out.

Allright, as i said, i=B4m ready to do so, but i consider _this_ much more=
=20
dangerous than the situation currently is so i will not initiate this mysel=
f.

What about giving more stability which is not possible without breaking an =
API ?
