Hello, one way of getting rid of Kerberos without damaging your system is to use the *Wonderful* "make world" instruction (without enabling kerberos in /etc/make.conf). There are details on making the world in the handbook and in Grog Lehey's "The complete FreeBSD" book. Hope that helps TfH > >After doing post-installation 'bin', > > > >1) my origianl normal users are disappeared. > >2) after re-boot, the display prompts from 'mis' to 'myname' > > > >how i change to original one? > > Seems no way :( When I uninstalled kerberos by reinstalling > 'bin' (as suggested in FAQ) - most of /etc/ was "recovered" to > freshely installed system.
