Until I upgraded to 3.2 (recent sup) I could make a quick copy of the
root fs via dd. Where and how is this attribute set?

TIA - Frank

dd if=/dev/rwd0s1a of=/dev/rwd1s1a
dd: /dev/rwd1s1a: Read-only file system

ls -l /dev/rwd1s1a
crw-rw---- 1 root operator 3, 0x00020008 Aug 24 03:53 /dev/rwd1s1a
