Scot,

I forgot to add that i checked the handbook
(http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/kernelconfig-config.html)
before i edited my config and i did not see an entry relating to SCTP and its
dependants.
Is this something missing on purpose (ie: it MUST stay in all configs) or is it
a new addition to the config ?

thanks again
