Linux, SunOS-4.1.4 and Solaris 5.7,5.8 are NIS clients. >Description: I can see the NIS maps on clients. But I can't login on those clients. I use the /var/yp/Makefile.dist with: #UNSECURE = "True" B=-b S=-s If I changed the UNSECURE = "True", I can login to Linux. Of course, this is very dangerous. I don't want to expose encrypted passwords. Are there any possibilities? Even I edited the Makefile adding a new map "shadow.byname", I still can't login to Linux. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
