You will be much more popular around here if you stop sending HTML
mail to the FreeBSD lists.

It has been widely recommended that you delete the contents of
/usr/X11R6 before the "make install" as residual V3 files can cause
really weird things to happen. I battled for hours with a Sony laptop
until I nuked the X11R6 directory and re-installed clean.
