Hmm, could you provide more details ?  It's very hard to make it crash
unless we know why it works ?  :-)

boot4.flp is intended for 4MB machines and has less online help on it.
It will be unsupported in the 2.2 release and will not work for network
installs, but maybe cdrom installs will work.

Yes, you're supposed to type something like:

	ftp://foo.bar.com/home/somebody/FreeBSD
