StarOffice has a port, as root enter:
cd /usr/ports/editors/staroffice52; make install

If you've already downloaded the source file, put
it in /usr/ports/distfiles first, so the make process
can find it.

If you're unfamiliar with the ports setup, I suggest
reading the handbook section:
