There's a /proc in 5.x, but it's not the same as a full Linux /proc file
system.  There are a bunch of files missing.

There are some patches floating around out there, but if you would do
this, that would be most appreciated.  I'm working on fixing the
wireless applet now, so it will take me some time to get around to
netload.  Thanks.
