Patches welcome :-) Seriously, I had a quick look at this today, and to fix this I'd need to dedicate quite a time to this (which I don't have at the minute, with 2.1.5-RELEASE round the corner, and other stuff). So if anyone else wants to jump on and fix this, please feel free. Otherwise I'll try and remember to work on it on a rainy day sometime.
