   Yes, there were bugs that would cause the machine to hang, panic, or
corrupt your mmaped files. We *think* we've fixed all the bugs.

   3MB of swap is normal for a standard compliment of (system) processes, but
is abnormal when the shell and init are the only user processes. I think
you're seeing the swap leak.
