disklabels are now ONLY relevent within the BSD partition..
as you ahve no BSD partition, the disklabel can't be put on....
never fear.. The new code doesn't need a disklabel
to be able to read a dos disk..
is the DOS disk is sd1,
then find the new MAKEDEV script and 
MAKEDEV sd1
then you willnotice several new devices..
sd1s0,sd1s1, sd1s2  etc


sd1s1 will be your DOS partition......
mount it directly..
you don't need to do any more work to it....
