This has apparently been done to support e.g. 1.2 MB on 1.44 drives, etc. I'm _not_ going to make substantial changes to the floppy code before 2.1 ships, since i will avoid to break it in any way. 2.2 will be even-numbered, hence can get more experimental code. :) > He also requested 2.88 MB support.
