I doubt that the "TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-3401T" can understand PhotoCDs.
Due to the nature of what I do over here , playing VideoCDs, CD-I, 
and reading  PhotoCDs , I ended up getting a Plextor 4Plex CDROM to 
be able to read various different CD formats.
