Try ssh. It is an encrypted replacement for r(sh,cp,login).
It also forwards X11 traffic (with encryption) transparently
(you can also configure it to use any other tcp port to forward,
which also gets encrypted). If you don't want to get the port
(/usr/ports/security/ssh), you can get it from:
