use ntalkd

from /etc/inetd.conf
#talk   dgram   udp     wait    root    /usr/old/talkd          talkd
ntalk   dgram   udp     wait    root    /usr/libexec/ntalkd     ntalkd 

/usr/bin/talk works fine with it ...
