I don't understand.  Generic NE2000 cards (which are ISA) do work, I used
one on this workstation for quite a while.  You can bet that any card <$30
is most likely NE2000 compatible.  But they certainly aren't the same.

I'm not that familiar with the intel networking product line tho.
