Yes, but James Clark still supports groff (though it's pretty stable). There isn't any support at all for Interviews; they tell you at the ftp site to go think about fresco! If we were going to move (and I don't think that's a bad idea, Amancio) then we shouldn't move, on purpose, to a known orphan. My own idea would be to move to a wysiwyg sgml type editor; and an outside formatter. Webtk could be modified to do the editing, and Jade (James Clark's again) would be a good formatter. If so, some of my objections would evaporate. Many more would go, if it was changed to rely on one of the newer gui libraries.
