Is it possible that the MBR is corrupt and that a fsck /MBR would fix it? This was suggested to me on another list but doesn't seem likely since I can boot of the SCSI disk using a boot floppy and then typing 0:sd(0,a)/kernel at the boot: prompt. Thank you.
