Not quite.  :-(

Fetching ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-3-stable/Latest/
                                                               ^^^^^^^^
Maybe we need symlinks of ports/<arch>/packages-<uname major ver>-latest/
and make ``pkg_add'' a little smarter.
