'me too' :)

I have it working, it has some 'interesting' colour problems tho..

And it hangs after about 10 seconds of playing around. (Its killable
though)

Speaking of your mmap() problem.. When I try quake and the mmap sample
program they get stuck in pcmflush forever :(
